Article summary

The Environment tab shows external and internal environmental information for your property. At the top of the page is the 24-hour local temperature forecast for the property, as well as the daily precipitation, humidity, and wind averages (forecasted) for the current day and the following two days. This data is obtained from WeatherAPI.com

Sensor Building Averages

Under the weather data are the current sensor averages for each environmental data point you are monitoring on your property, such as carbon dioxide or relative humidity. Each widget shows the 24-hour average for that data point as well as a general rating. Select one of the widgets to see the status and details for all sensors collecting information for that environmental measure.

If you are a tenant, environmental ratings show as either within or outside of optimal range. If you are a Building Manager, the ratings will fall into one of the following values:

  • Excellent (Green) - No action required.
  • Good (Yellow) - No action required but note that the value is outside of optimal range.
  • Moderate (Orange) - Action should be taken soon to investigate a potential problem.
  • Poor (Red) - Action should be taken immediately to investigate and potentially mitigate the problem.

We use proprietary algorithms, developed by our team of environmental scientists and based on ASHRAE standards, to assess environmental status.

Note that the overview pages include summarized ratings, which are derived from five specific data points: temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), volatile organic compounds (VOC), and fine particulate matter (PM 2.5). Additional environmental measures will depend on the sensors you have installed on your property.
